Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using epic downloader ("the service") you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. The service is operated by the site owner ("we", "us"), reachable at epicdownloader.com@hotmail.com.
2. What the service does
The service is a technical tool: given a link you provide, it locates media that the source platform already makes publicly accessible and helps you save it to your device, optionally converting it to another format (for example MP3 audio). The service hosts no media library, maintains no catalogue, and stores no copies of downloaded content — files either travel directly from the platform's network to your browser or pass through the server transiently (format conversions are held briefly until you fetch them, then deleted); nothing is stored after delivery.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the service only in ways that are lawful in your jurisdiction. In particular, you agree that:
- You will only download content that you have the right to save — for example your own uploads, content in the public domain, content published under a licence that permits downloading (such as Creative Commons), or content whose rightsholder has given you permission.
- You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the source platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and others). Some platforms prohibit downloading through their terms even for publicly visible content.
- You will not use the service to infringe copyright or any other third-party right, and you will not redistribute, republish or commercially exploit downloaded content without authorization from the rightsholder.
- You will not use the service to access content that is private, login-protected or otherwise not intended to be publicly accessible, and you will not attempt to circumvent technical protection measures of any platform.
- You will not abuse the service — including automated mass scraping, attempts to evade rate limits, resale of the service, or any use that degrades it for others.
You are solely responsible for what you download and how you use it. Downloading a file does not transfer any rights in that content to you.
4. Intellectual property
All media accessible through the service belongs to its respective rightsholders. The service does not claim any ownership over content available on third-party platforms. The service's own website, name, design and code are the property of the operator.
5. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. The service hosts no content, but if you believe it is being used to infringe your rights, or you want to report a specific issue, contact us at epicdownloader.com@hotmail.com with (a) identification of the protected work, (b) the link(s) concerned, (c) your contact details and (d) a good-faith statement that the reported use is unauthorized. We will review and act on legitimate notices promptly.
6. No affiliation
The service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, X Corp. or any other platform. All product names, logos and brands are property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
7. Availability and changes to the service
The basic service is provided free of charge (funded by advertising, see the privacy policy) and may be modified, rate-limited, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice. Because the service depends on third-party platforms, functionality may break when those platforms change; we do not guarantee that any particular platform, format or resolution will remain available. The optional ad-free subscription is additionally governed by section 8.
8. Ad-free subscription
We offer an optional paid subscription that removes all advertising and advertising-related tracking from the service. The following applies to it:
- What's included. The subscription removes all advertising and advertising-related tracking, works on any device via email sign-in, and unlocks bulk download (whole playlists or pasted link lists packaged as one ZIP). Included features may evolve; anything removed from the plan will be announced on the subscription page.
- Price and billing. The price is the one displayed at checkout. The subscription is billed monthly and renews automatically each month until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time via "Manage subscription" on the ad-free page (or by emailing us). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for; you keep ad-free access until then. There are no partial-month refunds except where the law requires them.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from first subscribing. Because the ad-free service starts immediately at your request, you may simply email us within those first 14 days and we will cancel the subscription and refund your first payment in full.
- How access works. Ad-free access is remembered in your browser via a cookie. On a new device, or after clearing browser data, you can restore it from the ad-free page using the email address from your checkout. The subscription is for personal use; the service's normal fair-use and rate limits continue to apply.
- Price changes. We may change the subscription price with at least 30 days' notice (shown on the site or emailed via Stripe). If you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect; continuing the subscription afterwards constitutes acceptance.
- If the service is discontinued, or ads are removed for everyone, remaining paid time will be refunded pro rata.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from the use of — or inability to use — the service, nor for the acts or omissions of users, including any infringement of third-party rights committed by users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under mandatory consumer-protection rules.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claims, damages or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service, including claims by rightsholders relating to content you downloaded.
12. Age
You must be at least 14 years old to use the service. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be submitted to the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have to litigate in your place of residence within the European Union.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
